C14 Turbine Engine Theory and Construction (9 Days)


Course Description A good understanding of the fundamentals of turbine theory is important for any technician wanting to work on a jet engine. It aims to equip participants with the basic knowledge essential for trouble shooting purposes, and prepare them for the CAAS C14 examination.

Program Objectives
  • Understand the principles of jet propulsion and basic gas turbine engines
  • Learn about the effects of atmospheric variations on the gas turbine engines
  • Have a better understanding of the various constructional arrangements of the gas turbine engines
Who Should Attend
  • Engine technicians and service engineers working on gas turbine engines
  • Any aircraft technician wanting to sit for the CAAS C14 examination
Upon Completion The candidate will be prepared to sit for the CAAS C14 Examination.
Entry Requirements
  • At least NTC 3/2 or GCE N/O level academic qualifications with a pass in English, Mathematics and Science
