Course Description |
Most countries of the world have different airworthiness requirements for aerospace workshops or facilities. As a result, the requirements may differ from one country to the other. The Singapore Airworthiness Administration (Workshops) paper covers the airworthiness requirements for aerospace workshops or stores facilities in Singapore as per the Singapore ANO, SAR and Airworthiness Notices. It is essential for everyone certifying work in approved aerospace workshops or stores in Singapore to have sufficient knowledge of Airworthiness Administration (Workshops).
Program Objective
- Understand the responsibilities, requirements and penalties of workshop/stores.
- Understand the different forms of approval for workshops and stores.
- Differentiate between different forms of certification for parts' release to service after overhaul, testing, inspection, etc., or release from stores.
- Become familiar with documentation, records and defect reporting and conversant with the Company Exposition, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, Overhaul Manuals and Parts Catalogue etc.
- Be familiar with the different ways of storage of parts in the workshops or stores.

At least NTC 3/2 or GCE N/O level academic qualifications with a pass in English, Mathematics and Science.
