B13 Electrical and Instrument Systems (10 Days)


Course Description A good understanding of the basic aircraft electrical and instrument systems is important for anyone wanting to work on commercial aircraft. This knowledge will also be useful for troubleshooting purposes. The course introduces the Fundamentals of Electricity, Electrical Systems, Airframe and Engine Instrument Systems and Test Equipment to the participant. This course is designed to prepare students for the CAAS B13 examinations.
Program Objectives
  • Understand the fundamentals of electricity and electrical systems.
  • Learn about the different airframe and engine instrumentation and also test equipment.
Who Should Attend
  • Technicians working on any airframe/engine electrical systems or aircraft instrumentation systems.
  • Technical Service Engineers interested in knowing about aircraft electrical systems and instruments.
  • Anyone wanting to sit for the CAAS B13 Examination.
Upon Completion The candidate will be prepared to sit for the CAAS B13 Examination.
Entry Requirements
  • At least NTC 3/2 or GCE N/O level academic qualifications with a pass in English, Mathematics and Science
