News Releases Mil-Com Aerospace Training Center collaborates with Xi'an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute and set up Dr Diana Young Educational Fund to help needy students from the low income families in China. Mil-Com Aerospace Training Center, an aviation training course provider entity within the Mil-Com Aerospace Group, has entered into collaborative agreement with Xi'an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute in China in the area of providing value-added OEM and approved aircraft type and basic engineering courses to its curriculum. This collaborative agreement was signed by Eugene EJ Lim, President/CEO of Mil-Com Aerospace Group and Professor Chen Wan Qiang, President of Xi'an Aeronautical Polytechnic Institute on the 11 November 2006 in Xi'an. Xi'an Aeronautical Polytechnic is now in a position to offer aviation trade specific technical and engineering courses to the students in Sha'anxi province. In addition, the collaborative partnership is able to offer courses including but not limited to Aircraft Type Engineering, Aircraft Structures and Repair, Aircraft Type Specialty, Soft Skills Training and Personal Development. As integral part of the agreement, a portion of the revenue generated from this collaboration would go towards the establishment of an Educational Fund in the name of the late Diana Young to help needy students from the low income families in China who are interested to build a career in the aviation industry by enrolling for the aircraft type and basic engineering courses. This Fund was established to commemorate the late Diana Young, wife of Eugene Lim and co-founder of Mil-Com Aerospace Group, who passed away in a car accident in Xi'an in 2004. Mr. Lim commented "Diana was a very charitable and compassionate person who had great passion in the aerospace business. I hope this Fund will reach out and help the needy students who may have potential to contribute to the aviation industry, just like my late wife."
