INSTRUCTOR

Job Description
Conduct aircraft type specific and basic engineering and maintenance standard practices training for customers – airlines and MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) personnel.  Develop, design and/or customize courseware to meet customers’ requirements.  Prepare, conduct and evaluate examination to meet standards set by regulatory authority for certification.

(a) Aircraft Structures

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of course notes
  • Conduct aircraft structural repair courses in Singapore and overseas
  • Research and development of new courses
  • Revision/updating of course notes to ensure currency of information
  • Class familiarization and orientation
  • Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures prevailing

Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering, preferably in mechanical/aeronautical engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of aviation-related work experience on commercial aircraft maintenance, repair and/or overhaul
  • Applicants who have completed course of training in aircraft structure repair conducted by manufacturer or approved source preferred
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to command participation in class
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be familiar with presentation software
  • Applicants with experience as instructor will be of advantage
  • Applicants with marketing quality will be of advantage

(b) Composite & Metal Bond Repair

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of course notes
  • Conduct aircraft composite and metal bond repair courses, including engineering practical training in Singapore and overseas
  • Research and development of new courses
  • Revision/updating of course notes to ensure currency of information
  • Class familiarization and orientation
  • Observe and adhere to company policies and procedures prevailing

Requirements

  • Polytechnic Diploma in mechanical/aeronautical engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of aviation-related work experience in aircraft composite/metal bond repair
  • Applicants who have completed course of training conducted by aircraft manufacturer OEM or approved source preferred
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Must be able to communicate effectively to command participation in class
  • Able to work independently
  • Must be familiar with presentation software
  • Applicants with experience as instructor will be of advantage
  • Applicants with marketing quality will be of advantage
