Enterprise 50

Mil-Com Aerospace Pte Ltd was a recipient of the Enterprise 50 award for the year 2002 and 2003. Enterprise 50 was established by Accenture and the Business Times, with the support from the Economic Development Board in recognition of the contributions made by local enterprises. It is the definitive list of the fifty most enterprising, privately held local companies in Singapore.

Enterprise 50 recognizes local, privately held companies who played a vital contributory role in Singapore's economy. They are recognized for their vision, entrepreneurship and determination, which have helped provide the second wing of economic development to drive Singapore's economy towards the status of a developed nation.


ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certification

Implemented by some 760 900 organizations in 154 countries, the ISO 9000 and ISO 14000 families are among ISO's most widely known standards. ISO 9000 has become an international reference for quality management requirements in business-to-business dealings.

"Quality Management Systems" refers to what the organization does to ensure that its products or services satisfy the customer's quality requirements and comply with the regulations applicable to the products or services. This standard specifies requirements for a QMS where an organization needs to demonstrate its ability to consistently provide its product or services that meets customer's and applicable regulatory requirements. It also aims to enhance customer satisfaction through the effective application of the system. One of the fundamental purposes of BSI EN ISO 9001:2000 is to enable the development of a QMS that is fully integrated into the normal operations of the business.


Israel Trade Award - 2002 Dalia Itzik Ministry of Industry & Trade

This annual award was presented by Israel's Minister for Trade and Industry at a ceremony in recognition of Mil-Com Aerospace's outstanding contributions and effort in improving international trade links with Israel.


Meritorious Defence Partner Award - 2005

The annual "Meritorious Defence Partner Award", was introduced in 1992 to provide recognition to units or organizations that have excelled in all components of the MINDEF PRIDE Movement in the past years. In the selection criteria, emphasis is given to people building, teamwork, participation in making improvements, training, optimizing resource utilization, and promoting of healthy lifestyle and welfare. It has also benefited from supplier quality management where they see their suppliers as strategic allies forming an important link to customer's satisfaction.



Singapore SME 500 Company 2004 / 2005 / 2007

The "Singapore 1000" (S1000) recognizes the nation's largest corporations by annual financial performance of sales/turnover, as well as a separate ranking of Singapore's Top 1000 companies by Net Profit. From this 1000 list, the rankings will be determined by the performance of these companies via other financial indicators such as total assets and return on shareholders' funds etc.

The "Singapore SME 500" (SME 500) ranks and recognizes the most successful small and medium enterprise (SME) companies. The rankings for SME 500 is similar to the approach used in "Singapore 1000" rankings.


The SAF Award for Employers - 2003/2004

The Singapore Armed Forces Award for Employers is presented annually to employers who have actively supporting National Services activities and MINDEF's NS policies. Introduced in 1986, it has since presented over 500 Award and Commendation Certificates to deserving private and public organizations.

Assessment criteria include the organization's policies governing operational readiness, physical fitness, Total Defence and NS recognition programmes.


The Singapore Family Friendly Employer Award - 2004

The Singapore Family Friendly Employer Award is conferred biennially on pro-family organizations. This award aims to encourage companies to continue introducing and promoting innovative family friendly work practices. As a business strategy, it should results in a happier, more productive workforce and are crucial to Singapore's development of a globally competitive workforce and great workplaces.


Entrepreneur of the Year Award - 1999

ASME is a pro-active organization, comprising of individual business owners, decision-makers and entrepreneurs, with many activities and initiatives which serve to enhance the growth and development of the Association and the SME community. It represents a significant proportion of registered SMEs in Singapore.

The annual Award that organized by ASME and the Rotary Club of Singapore (RCOS), pays tribute to business professionals who have exhibited outstanding performance in entrepreneurship. The Award has in recent years established itself as the benchmark for business growth and success.


Entrepreneur of the Year Award - 2002

The Ernst & Young "Entrepreneur of the Year" award honors individuals whose ingenuity, hard work and perseverance have created and sustained successful, growing business ventures. It is the only international award program in Singapore. While other awards recognize entrepreneurs at national level, the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award goes on to competes at an international level at the World Entrepreneur of the Year awards with contestants from 22 countries such as the USA, UK and Australia.


Leader Mentor Award - 2003

The Leader Mentor Award is organized and awarded by Research Communication International in collaboration with BP International Mentoring Foundation, The International Mentoring Association and The Singapore Management University. This award is given to those who have shown exceptional dedication and achievement in the field of mentoring, leadership education, character development and corporate governance, social responsibility and leadership change.


Woman Entrepreneur of the Year Award - 1999

The Woman Entrepreneur of the Year is a premier Award awarded and organized by the Association of Small and Medium Enterprises and sponsored by Hewlett-Packard Far East Pte Ltd to reward and encourage local woman entrepreneurs who have demonstrated entrepreneurial excellence in their field of expertise, and who have contributed significantly to the Singapore's economy and the society.

The award is endorsed by the Economic Development Board, Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore, SPRING Singapore, and International Enterprise Singapore.
